Time Audit – Personal Time Tracker

Time Audit is an easy-to-use and uniquely organized iPhone / iPod Touch / iPad application for tracking what you spend your time on, and why.

Although you could use it for billing or other business purposes, Time Audit is designed with your entire 24-hour day in mind, including sleep, so you can be intelligently informed about how you are spending your time.

Time Audit is different than other time tracking tools. Time Audit asks for two pieces of information about each block of time you spend: What you are doing (Activity) and why you are doing it (Purpose).

As you gather this information throughout your day with just a few screen touches, you are giving Time Audit the information it needs to generate reports that let you view your time summarized by Activity or Purpose, then drill down into each item for a detailed breakdown of how you spent your time on that Activity or Purpose.

Time Audit also provides an “Email This” feature on every report which allows you to email a file to yourself containing the data from that report. You can open these files in a spreadsheet program such as Microsoft Excel or Apple Numbers to create your own charts, or do further analysis on your time data.

No network connection is required to use the application, except to use the “Email This” feature.

Time Audit is developed by Mark Aardsma, the author of this blog site. For technical support please email me using the email address in the sidebar on the right.

UPDATE: This app is discontinued. It was fun, and in the end too time-consuming for me to keep up with updates, etc.

Thanks!
